Our Afternoon Tea with Vintage China is a separate Afternoon Pause menu, created for sharing and enjoying at the table, with a generous selection of sandwiches, savouries, cakes and scones. And now, in collaboration with Ivy Cottage in St Margaret’s, your afternoon tea can be served on beautiful vintage china with seasonal table decorations.

Alongside our main afternoon tea menu, we also offer a changing seasonal selection.

Our current seasonal treats may include favourites from our latest seasonal menu, giving you the chance to enjoy something a little different depending on the time of year.

Vintage china & seasonal table styling

For £5 per person, Ivy Cottage provides the vintage tea set and seasonal decorations.

Your set can include vintage:

  • Additional tableware

  • Seasonal table decorations

The styling changes with the seasons, so your afternoon tea can have a different look throughout the year — from spring and summer gatherings to autumn afternoons and festive celebrations.

For birthdays and celebrations, Ivy Cottage can also provide:

Send us your date, location, number of guests and dietary requirements.

2. Choose your afternoon tea

Choose your sandwich fillings, savouries and cakes, and let us know if you'd like any seasonal extras or celebration cakes.

3. We arrange the rest

We'll check availability with Ivy Cottage and arrange the vintage china and seasonal decorations.

4. One payment

Your booking is paid for through Afternoon Pause, so there's no need to arrange payment with two different businesses.

5. Enjoy your afternoon tea

Your food arrives ready to enjoy alongside the vintage china and seasonal table styling.

The tea set is collected afterwards.
